Entrepreneur & Co-Founder

Co-Founder of bexio ( https://www.bexio.com ↗ ), a cloud-based accounting solution for small businesses and self-employed individuals.

bexio was named Switzerland's best software start-up in 2016 and 2017 and was acquired by "Die Mobiliar" in 2018.

As of March 2023, bexio serves more than 55,000 happy customers and employs more than 120 people.

  • › Led the frontend and backend development of the Amplo Platform

Led the launch of the new bexio API platform that resulted in a 100% year-over-year growth in API usage.

The project introduced many new components, namely:

  • Identity Provider supporting OpenID Connect 1.0
  • Developer Portal providing self-service to developers
  • New documentation using the OpenAPI 3.0 standard

Billing Platform Migration

2017 | Project Management & Solution Design

Orchestrated and organized the migration from a self-built billing solution with 30,000 customers to the standard product Zuora as Project Manager / Solution Architect.

Responsible for project management, data migration, requirements mapping and communication with Zuora.

UBS e-Banking connection

2015 | Technical lead / Solution Design

Developed architecture and security concept for an interface to the biggest swiss bank UBS. Responsible for technical project and stakeholder management.

Nearshoring in Belgrade

Successfully built up a nearshoring development location in Belgrade.

API Platform for bexio

Established the first version of the bexio API platform by implementing the OAuth 2.0 standard and user-friendly documentation generated from the code base.

The API platform served as a cornerstone for the open ecosystem of bexio.

ERP-Solution for bexio

2012 | Implementation and Software Design

Successful implementation of a web-based ERP system suitable for small businesses. Full support of the two core workflows "Quote to cash" and "Procure to pay".

Responsible for the software design and development of the solution.

Subscription Billing for bexio

2010 | Implementation and Software Design

Eliminated manual monthly three-day billing process by coding, testing and implementing a custom application that billed more than 5,000 clients.
